Hi, i warn the consumers to be careful with the health care products and baby product of amway. i had very bad experience with my mother.She was very normal before taking the amway health care product. one of my family friend, market the amway product to my mom and sold health related stuff for daily life. she was taking amway product for the couple of months and she got diabetes's high, BP high .i consulf my fammily doctor and suggested to stop it.Once stopped my diabetes level came down and BP came down. Becuase of the amway products my mom got some complication in her health.doctor told to do some operations. so i request all the consumers not to take the amway products., i am going to consult lawyer and sue the company . soon.If anybodyh has the same problem, then pls contact me.thanks

This piece of shit tells people that he is a Doctor offering free medical advise to people and prescribes certain medicines, which he claims are prepared by scientists in foreign countries. He tells people to stop their current medication and start with the medicines he is prescribing. He then sells them to unsuspecting sick people.
This piece of shit is not even a Doctor, I do not know if the cheating thug and cheat has ever gone to school.
Never once does he mention AMWAY OR NUTRILITE.
Then when you get the medicines, you find out that they are actually NUTRILITE PRODUCTS.
Then the cheat tells you that you are a member of his team of Multilevel Marketing and then only does he tell you about AMWAY.

Amway won't fulfill on the value of a gift certificate received in 1999 that they sold as "never expires".
In 1999 I received an Amway Amagift Vacation gift certificate. Since my honeymoom was planned and i was pregnant i knew i wouldn't be able to use it for some time. I called Amway to confirm it didn't expire and was told that the value would never expire yet the participation resorts changed from time to time and when i was ready i should call for a new catalogue. Fast forward to this past october when i contacted them for a new catalogue and was instructed to send in the certificate with a cover letter requesting a new catalogue. I did and after a month of no response began following up. I have spoken on the phone with customer service as well as exchanged emails. While I've gotten mixed messages and followed instructions the customer service reps are giving me a bunch of nonsense reasons why they won't replace the voucher - one rep said the voucher was like a gym membership "use it or lose it" another said the refund policy was clearly noted on the card and obviously they didn't have the card in front of them so i sent them a copy -- i now understand why they originally asked me to send the voucher when i requested the replacement - they were obviously hoping i wouldn't have made a copy to refer to so they could say whatever they wanted. it's surprise that such a large global company performs so unethically.

Amway is an MLM scam that might possibly be the worst one yet. They reel you in with dreams of grandeur and hope, but most of their representatives will never reach that American Dream level. As a rep, you have to attend meetings once a month with your upline, which may or may not be near your home. They also expect you to travel for conferences a few times a year. At these conferences they deliver all these bonus commission checks for millions to individuals with the biggest sales. The only people who are making that much in commissions are those who can recruit hundreds of people into their downline and then they don’t have to sell anything, the people below them do it for them. They make everyone feel as if this is attainable when in reality most people will be lucky to clear a couple hundred in sales a month most of them from themselves.
They get you to buy your everyday products from them so that you can get a percentage of the sale back in commission. Not only are they an MLM but they are scammers of the worst sort, similar to the coal mine and lumberjack stores in the early 1900s that would force the workers to spend their paychecks on their products and then jacked up the prices.
I ended up spending so much more on products through Amway than I ever made. I bought their vitamins, herbal supplements and diet products that they assure you are much better than anything you can buy at the store. In all honesty most of the diet products were disgusting and I have since learned I can get better tasting, better for me products for less at the grocery store.
I really hope this scam gets stopped soon, before too many more people get ripped off.

I, M V Syam Sundar, Secretary, Corporate Frauds Watch Society, Hyderabad, humbly submit that Amway India Enterprises set up office near Yasoda Hospital, Somajiguda, Hyderabad (which lies in the jurisdiction of the officer) and has been promoting illegal Money Circulation Scheme in the guise of sale of goods by enrollment of members in chain system with the inducement of get quick rich. The details of the Amway India Enterprises are as follows.
2. The Enrollment scheme of the Amway:
Amway is a company registered under the Companies Act. The scheme of Amway is 6-4-3 scheme. The first person has to sponsor 6 persons and these 6 persons have to sponsor 4 persons each totaling 24 persons and in turn these 24 persons have to sponsor/enroll 3 persons each totaling 72 persons. Thus these 103 (1+6+24+72) persons are called as one leg for income calculation purpose and this chain keeps on goes unchecked. The person should be enrolled by an already enrolled member so as to maintain chain. Initially, the entrance fee of the Amway is Rs.4,500/-. Now waived this entrance fee, but the new entrants have to purchase products worth Rs.4,500/- otherwise their membership will expire. After payment of some amount, an identity card and some products will be delivered by the company at the time of joining in the name of business kit. Joining a member into the scheme is treated as sale of products. The new person who joined in the scheme is called Amway Business Owner or ADA or ABO or downliner. The person who made the new member to join in the scheme under him is called upline member. Commissions are given not only on the event of personal efforts of their direct enrollment/sponsoring but also on the contingency relative or applicable to sponsoring of new members by their downline members. The promise of commission on the enrollment of new members will be as follows:

There are 22 levels in the scheme of Amway namely 1) Silver, 2) Gold, 3) Platinum, 4) Ruby, 5) Founders Platinum, 6) Founders Ruby, 7) Sapphire, 8) Founders Sapphire, 9) Emerald, 10) Founder Emerald, 11) Diamond, 12) Founders Diamond, 13) Executive Diamond, 14) Founders Executive Diamond, 15) Double Diamond, 16) Founder’s Double diamond, 17) Triple Diamond, 18) Founder’s Triple Diamond, 19) Crown Diamond, 20) Founder’s Crown, 21) Crown Ambassador and 22) Founder’s Crown Ambassador. The title holders will get huge and fabulous easy money in the form of group income which purely depend on the enrollment of new members into the scheme but not depend on the sale of products.
4. During seminar, the members of Amway/speakers have brainwashed to target wives of Govt. officials, middle class, retired persons, unemployed youth to get them into the scheme so as to spread network.
5. The Hon’ble High Court of A.P. also held vide WP 20470/2006 that the scheme of Amway is nothing but illegal Money Circulation Scheme and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India also upheld the same vide SLP No.13414/2007. Moreover the Government of A.P. has also issued a G.O. Vide G.O.Ms.No.178 dated 15/9/2008 restraining the Amway from issuing advertisements, still Amway has been issuing advertisements in contravention of The Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978.
6. The Hon’ble High Court of AP in Speakasia case (CRLP 5626/2011) held that there is no need of any loss or misappropriation of funds to attract an offence under Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act 1978. Mere informing a scheme, which covered under the money circulation scheme and enrolling members as subscribers, itself is an offence. Further Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Kuriachan Chacko case (2008(8) SCC 710) held that the scheme of enrolment of members leads to mathematical impossibility that amounts to cheating, as such the Amway has been cheating and promoting the illegal money circulation scheme in the guise of sale of products.
7. I submit that so far Amway India Enterprises has cheated lakhs of people in Hyderabad and looted crores of rupees from the members of the Hyderabad by promoting illegal Money Circulation Scheme.
8. Hence, I pray that the Dy. Commissioner of Police, CCS, Hyderabad may be pleased to initiate criminal action against Amway India Enterprises, its promoters and members for cheating, looting by extortion the hard earned money of gullible public by making false promise of get quick rich, by putting mental torture in the name of seminars and for promoting illegal money circulation scheme in the guise of sale of products by enrollment of members into its scheme.

On 3/25/13 We received a couple at our home.We know them since 15 years ago. b(6) and his wife b(6),they presented us a 'business' called Amway.Everything looked Ok,clear and legal because they have the Amway Application and they were talking that all was legal and it was going to be registered with Chamber of Commerce of California,and have a support team called Vission or in Spanish Equipo Vision which provides a book and some cd's for $70.00/month,they also include lots of Bible paragraphs on everything they present, etc. The problems started since right after we signed. We were not allowed to pay for anything with our debit or credit card, not with our checks all they wanted were cash. They didn't give us a copy of the application or contract for the 'Business', they promised to bring it back next time.Never did. Then the rush started: According to them we should do everything the way they said otherwise they would not warrant our success on the 'Business'.So, we tried to do as told: we went to their meetings or opens, to the seminar, and order products, register or recomend more people, we even subscribed or 15 years old son but, few days later we called the company AMWAY to ask about the validity of these people's actions. Amway defended themselves saying that every group have the right to develop their business their own way.When I asked about minors doing that kind of business and using them as examples that they are in 25% level. They said 'O no that can't be'. No minors of 16 are allowed to be an IBO at all.But the company don't care, there are many kids 14 years old learning how to get the cash from any people. The way AMWAY does it is by leaving the space blank where the Date Of Birth should be. What we need is our money back. Two years back, one of my father’s friend came to our home and introduced about the MLM( Multi level marketing) plan that is being followed in Amway. According to that plan, we have to pay 4500 rs and they will provide you with a business starting kit. That kit includes some shampoos, soaps, body lotions etc.
Now the business starts. What we have to do is, referring our friends to this program. We have to convince our friends so that they too join in the scheme by paying 4000 rs also they have to buy products from Amway use it.
The products are ridiculously over priced. The quality is good but the price is too much. The paste tube is around 200 rs. Soap is 60 rs per soap. I don’t know why I should buy very high priced products when I can get same quality products at one fourth of its price in outer market?
The full form of Amway is American Way. If you have loads of money and don’t know what to do with that money, go buy the Amway products.
My Memories of Amway

Years ago (I won't say how many) I became involved with Amway. To me it seemed a good way to supplement my income. It took about six months to understand why the business model has flaws.
Network marketing is an ok idea, except eventually if enough people join, there will be overpentration/oversaturation in the market and no customers to sell to. I wanted people to buy SA-8, not sell it. Selling it was my job. I see lately the system has gone away from direct sales into a really odd area where downlines are only purchasing for personal consumption and PV, not selling to the public. Recruit more people to buy the products themselves to recruit more people to buy the products themselves. Makes no sense.
Tapes and books were mostly lame rah rah stuff to get people fired up, but to recruit not to sell. At least Kirby runs their rah rahs to get the kids out on the street to sell vacuums to customers who they are not recruiting. Cheap but a waste of good money.
Biggest problem for me, sales and markup. Not to be immodest, but I am a natural at sales. I knew exactly which products to market and exactly where to market them. I know today, if I wanted to (and I don't), I could sell more SA-8 in my community is a week than Amway's best seller could in a year. I know it and I've done it. Problem is, the products are expensive, sure they may be concentrated, but you can only jack up the price so much before customers will balk at the purchase. so when I would sell the products, my markup was usually pretty minimal in order to compete with the unit pricing of other similar products. It ended up that I made a bit of money on my sales, but not enough to justify the effort.
It may work for some people and by all means if it does that is great. For me, I simply didn't want to have to move that much merchandise - if I can get $1 per box of SA-8 over my cost, if I sell 100 a day, it's not a great day and that is an awful lot of work. Also, I have zero interest in having anyone working under me. I am trying to sell product and would consider the need to "motivate" some lazy a** as a waste of time and taking away from my sale time.
I just think that there are better products to sell in terms of your commission income where you won't have to wear yourself out trying to make $50.
One other thing I recall, corporate support for sales was terrible from Ada. I spent some time working with businesses to put product in on test basis. I was assured by my upline that corporate would take care of everything once I got the business to agree to by a trial. Needless to day, they didn't perform.
Best of luck to all - dreams are good but make sure they are realistic.

I dont know why Amway is making Indian people sick. Their bullshit distributor who will tell you don't eat fruits. And have these tablet. Doctor who studied for 5 years about human body then also they never suggest to make your habit to have supplement continuous. In this Amwa, a lay man and they will become as doctor under Amway training in 3 month and they will suggest to have Amway product long life. I met one lady who was working as Engineer and now in three month training of Amway she has become doctor. Bullshit company, bullshit their product and bullshit their distibutor.

I have purchased whitening essence from one of your member who is involved in promoting your products or whatever i dont know.Thay have given me fake product.I ordered for 2 whitening essence .One between the 2 was really thick but the other one was simply water as if the cream has been removed and water has been added to same.I complained it to the lady.She has not returned us the money nor has she taken any action.Kindly sort this problem .THIS IS A MATTER OF CHEATING. AND OBVIOUSLY IT WILL BRING BAD NAME TO AMWAY. YOUR MEMBERS ARE CHEATING ON PUBLIC. WE RELY ON THEM AND THEY ARE DOING SUCH THINGS. Amway won't fulfill on the value of a gift certificate received in 1999 that they sold as "never expires".
In 1999 I received an Amway Amagift Vacation gift certificate. Since my honeymoom was planned and i was pregnant i knew i wouldn't be able to use it for some time. I called Amway to confirm it didn't expire and was told that the value would never expire yet the participation resorts changed from time to time and when i was ready i should call for a new catalogue. Fast forward to this past october when i contacted them for a new catalogue and was instructed to send in the certificate with a cover letter requesting a new catalogue. I did and after a month of no response began following up. I have spoken on the phone with customer service as well as exchanged emails. While I've gotten mixed messages and followed instructions the customer service reps are giving me a bunch of nonsense reasons why they won't replace the voucher - one rep said the voucher was like a gym membership "use it or lose it" another said the refund policy was clearly noted on the card and obviously they didn't have the card in front of them so i sent them a copy -- i now understand why they originally asked me to send the voucher when i requested the replacement - they were obviously hoping i wouldn't have made a copy to refer to so they could say whatever they wanted. it's surprise that such a large global company performs so unethically.

i had worked with Mway but my experience was very bad i never enjoy working with them as they are product base marketing company & for extra earning we can refer our friend & family concept is good but product was terrible when i got product it was not good in quality i ask them replace it after 15 days i got new product such delay customer is very poor i had change my plan to refer anyone i used product harldy 6 month then it got damage

Amway is an MLM scam that might possibly be the worst one yet. They reel you in with dreams of grandeur and hope, but most of their representatives will never reach that American Dream level. As a rep, you have to attend meetings once a month with your upline, which may or may not be near your home. They also expect you to travel for conferences a few times a year. At these conferences they deliver all these bonus commission checks for millions to individuals with the biggest sales. The only people who are making that much in commissions are those who can recruit hundreds of people into their downline and then they don’t have to sell anything, the people below them do it for them. They make everyone feel as if this is attainable when in reality most people will be lucky to clear a couple hundred in sales a month most of them from themselves.
They get you to buy your everyday products from them so that you can get a percentage of the sale back in commission. Not only are they an MLM but they are scammers of the worst sort, similar to the coal mine and lumberjack stores in the early 1900s that would force the workers to spend their paychecks on their products and then jacked up the prices.
I ended up spending so much more on products through Amway than I ever made. I bought their vitamins, herbal supplements and diet products that they assure you are much better than anything you can buy at the store. In all honesty most of the diet products were disgusting and I have since learned I can get better tasting, better for me products for less at the grocery store.
I really hope this scam gets stopped soon, before too many more people get ripped off.

Amway says that they sell to members at wholesale and all you have to do is spend $200 a month. Their wholesale prices are the same as prices at most retail shops only you have to pay shipping making it more expensive. Amway MLM is a scam.

I, M V Syam Sundar, Secretary, Corporate Frauds Watch Society, Hyderabad, humbly submit that Amway India Enterprises set up office near Yasoda Hospital, Somajiguda, Hyderabad (which lies in the jurisdiction of the officer) and has been promoting illegal Money Circulation Scheme in the guise of sale of goods by enrollment of members in chain system with the inducement of get quick rich. The details of the Amway India Enterprises are as follows.
2. The Enrollment scheme of the Amway:
Amway is a company registered under the Companies Act. The scheme of Amway is 6-4-3 scheme. The first person has to sponsor 6 persons and these 6 persons have to sponsor 4 persons each totaling 24 persons and in turn these 24 persons have to sponsor/enroll 3 persons each totaling 72 persons. Thus these 103 (1+6+24+72) persons are called as one leg for income calculation purpose and this chain keeps on goes unchecked. The person should be enrolled by an already enrolled member so as to maintain chain. Initially, the entrance fee of the Amway is Rs.4,500/-. Now waived this entrance fee, but the new entrants have to purchase products worth Rs.4,500/- otherwise their membership will expire. After payment of some amount, an identity card and some products will be delivered by the company at the time of joining in the name of business kit. Joining a member into the scheme is treated as sale of products. The new person who joined in the scheme is called Amway Business Owner or ADA or ABO or downliner. The person who made the new member to join in the scheme under him is called upline member. Commissions are given not only on the event of personal efforts of their direct enrollment/sponsoring but also on the contingency relative or applicable to sponsoring of new members by their downline members. The promise of commission on the enrollment of new members will be as follows:

Apart from this Amway induces that it will give Rs.50,925/- per month if any person sponsor or enroll 102 persons under his downline. The commissions are said to be distributed to all the members in the chain/network from last person to Amway in U.S.A. as commissions on group turnover.
3. Amway company further has been awarding titles to its members based on their enrollment of new members into its scheme. There are 22 levels in the scheme of Amway namely 1) Silver, 2) Gold, 3) Platinum, 4) Ruby, 5) Founders Platinum, 6) Founders Ruby, 7) Sapphire, 8) Founders Sapphire, 9) Emerald, 10) Founder Emerald, 11) Diamond, 12) Founders Diamond, 13) Executive Diamond, 14) Founders Executive Diamond, 15) Double Diamond, 16) Founder’s Double diamond, 17) Triple Diamond, 18) Founder’s Triple Diamond, 19) Crown Diamond, 20) Founder’s Crown, 21) Crown Ambassador and 22) Founder’s Crown Ambassador. The title holders will get huge and fabulous easy money in the form of group income which purely depend on the enrollment of new members into the scheme but not depend on the sale of products.
4. During seminar, the members of Amway/speakers have brainwashed to target wives of Govt. officials, middle class, retired persons, unemployed youth to get them into the scheme so as to spread network.
5. The Hon’ble High Court of A.P. also held vide WP 20470/2006 that the scheme of Amway is nothing but illegal Money Circulation Scheme and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India also upheld the same vide SLP No.13414/2007. Moreover the Government of A.P. has also issued a G.O. Vide G.O.Ms.No.178 dated 15/9/2008 restraining the Amway from issuing advertisements, still Amway has been issuing advertisements in contravention of The Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978.
6. The Hon’ble High Court of AP in Speakasia case (CRLP 5626/2011) held that there is no need of any loss or misappropriation of funds to attract an offence under Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act 1978. Mere informing a scheme, which covered under the money circulation scheme and enrolling members as subscribers, itself is an offence. Further Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Kuriachan Chacko case (2008(8) SCC 710) held that the scheme of enrolment of members leads to mathematical impossibility that amounts to cheating, as such the Amway has been cheating and promoting the illegal money circulation scheme in the guise of sale of products.
7. I submit that so far Amway India Enterprises has cheated lakhs of people in Hyderabad and looted crores of rupees from the members of the Hyderabad by promoting illegal Money Circulation Scheme.
8. Hence, I pray that the Dy. Commissioner of Police, CCS, Hyderabad may be pleased to initiate criminal action against Amway India Enterprises, its promoters and members for cheating, looting by extortion the hard earned money of gullible public by making false promise of get quick rich, by putting mental torture in the name of seminars and for promoting illegal money circulation scheme in the guise of sale of products by enrollment of members into its scheme.

On 3/25/13 We received a couple at our home.We know them since 15 years ago. b(6) and his wife b(6),they presented us a 'business' called Amway.Everything looked Ok,clear and legal because they have the Amway Application and they were talking that all was legal and it was going to be registered with Chamber of Commerce of California,and have a support team called Vission or in Spanish Equipo Vision which provides a book and some cd's for $70.00/month,they also include lots of Bible paragraphs on everything they present, etc. The problems started since right after we signed. We were not allowed to pay for anything with our debit or credit card, not with our checks all they wanted were cash. They didn't give us a copy of the application or contract for the 'Business', they promised to bring it back next time.Never did. Then the rush started: According to them we should do everything the way they said otherwise they would not warrant our success on the 'Business'.So, we tried to do as told: we went to their meetings or opens, to the seminar, and order products, register or recomend more people, we even subscribed or 15 years old son but, few days later we called the company AMWAY to ask about the validity of these people's actions. Amway defended themselves saying that every group have the right to develop their business their own way.When I asked about minors doing that kind of business and using them as examples that they are in 25% level. They said 'O no that can't be'. No minors of 16 are allowed to be an IBO at all.But the company don't care, there are many kids 14 years old learning how to get the cash from any people. The way AMWAY does it is by leaving the space blank where the Date Of Birth should be. What we need is our money back. Worst MLM scheme

Two years back, one of my father’s friend came to our home and introduced about the MLM( Multi level marketing) plan that is being followed in Amway. According to that plan, we have to pay 4500 rs and they will provide you with a business starting kit. That kit includes some shampoos, soaps, body lotions etc.
Now the business starts. What we have to do is, referring our friends to this program. We have to convince our friends so that they too join in the scheme by paying 4000 rs also they have to buy products from Amway use it.
The products are ridiculously over priced. The quality is good but the price is too much. The paste tube is around 200 rs. Soap is 60 rs per soap. I don’t know why I should buy very high priced products when I can get same quality products at one fourth of its price in outer market?
The full form of Amway is American Way. If you have loads of money and don’t know what to do with that money, go buy the Amway products.
My Memories of Amway

Years ago (I won't say how many) I became involved with Amway. To me it seemed a good way to supplement my income. It took about six months to understand why the business model has flaws.
Network marketing is an ok idea, except eventually if enough people join, there will be overpentration/oversaturation in the market and no customers to sell to. I wanted people to buy SA-8, not sell it. Selling it was my job. I see lately the system has gone away from direct sales into a really odd area where downlines are only purchasing for personal consumption and PV, not selling to the public. Recruit more people to buy the products themselves to recruit more people to buy the products themselves. Makes no sense.
Tapes and books were mostly lame rah rah stuff to get people fired up, but to recruit not to sell. At least Kirby runs their rah rahs to get the kids out on the street to sell vacuums to customers who they are not recruiting. Cheap but a waste of good money.
Biggest problem for me, sales and markup. Not to be immodest, but I am a natural at sales. I knew exactly which products to market and exactly where to market them. I know today, if I wanted to (and I don't), I could sell more SA-8 in my community is a week than Amway's best seller could in a year. I know it and I've done it. Problem is, the products are expensive, sure they may be concentrated, but you can only jack up the price so much before customers will balk at the purchase. so when I would sell the products, my markup was usually pretty minimal in order to compete with the unit pricing of other similar products. It ended up that I made a bit of money on my sales, but not enough to justify the effort.
It may work for some people and by all means if it does that is great. For me, I simply didn't want to have to move that much merchandise - if I can get $1 per box of SA-8 over my cost, if I sell 100 a day, it's not a great day and that is an awful lot of work. Also, I have zero interest in having anyone working under me. I am trying to sell product and would consider the need to "motivate" some lazy a** as a waste of time and taking away from my sale time.
I just think that there are better products to sell in terms of your commission income where you won't have to wear yourself out trying to make $50.
One other thing I recall, corporate support for sales was terrible from Ada. I spent some time working with businesses to put product in on test basis. I was assured by my upline that corporate would take care of everything once I got the business to agree to by a trial. Needless to day, they didn't perform.

Amway Bullshit company and bullshit their product. Amway distributor think they are doctor and will start giving you advice take iron, calcium, salmon omega bla bla.......... I dont know why Amway is making Indian people sick. Their bullshit distributor who will tell you don't eat fruits. And have these tablet. Doctor who studied for 5 years about human body then also they never suggest to make your habit to have supplement continuous. In this Amwa, a lay man and they will become as doctor under Amway training in 3 month and they will suggest to have Amway product long life. I met one lady who was working as Engineer and now in three month training of Amway she has become doctor. Bullshit company, bullshit their product and bullshit their distibutor.
